Botox and Dysport

Does it Hurt?

It is injected into specific muscles of your face and or neck using an ultra fine needle to minimize discomfort.

How does it work?

The neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport) work by stopping
movement of specific muscles known to cause classic forehead, frown and crow’s feet wrinkles

How will I know how much I need?

Before each exam we will discuss your concerns
and I will make recommendations on the amounts that you need.

How long will it last?

Great Question! It will vary from person to person, however,
typically it will last approximately 90 days.

Fillers

Will it hurt?

The fillers that we use do have lidocaine in them to help with discomfort but mild discomfort is expected.

How do I prepare for filler?

-Allow yourself 3 weeks minimum before a major event (wedding, pictures, job interviews
-Try to avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory (Aleve, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen), fish oil, St. John’s Wort, flax, vitamin e, vitamin d, Garlic for at least 10 days before treatment. DO NOT STOP MEDICALLY NECESSARY BLOOD THINNERS but be aware you will bruise more.
-Let us know if you get cold sores-I would like to pretreat you and potentially Avoid breakouts
- -Ensure you have no active infections and that you have no recent or upcoming dental
appointments in the next 2-3 weeks

Mint PDO Threads

What is it ?

PDO threads are a treatment that will lift your skin, smooth lines and wrinkles and restore your youthful appearance. These threads are the same material as dissolvable sutures that have been used in cardiac surgery for 30+ years.

How long will the procedure take?

Each session will take about 60-90 minutes to complete from start to finish. With lifting threads you will see an immediate change of lifted appearance but as the body begins to respond to them, you will see changes that will occur over the next 3-4 weeks.

What is the recovery like?

No scarring will be visible as the threads are inserted
through a very small puncture and often it closes on itself in a very short time. You should expect mild to moderate bruising with minimal swelling

A mint thread lift gives your facial tissues a gentle lift with a small thread made from polydioxanone. This is a naturally occurring substance in the body. AS your body breaks down
these threads, it replaces it with collagen.

Do you accept insurance?

No, insurance is not accepted at this practice but you can
apply and use Care Credit for your treatments which does allowed for no interest
payments through the company Care Credit.

What are your hours?

The hours vary and weekend and evening appointments are available. Please feel free to message me for your appointment!

What skincare products are offered?

SkinBetter products are available for purchase both online and in the clinic. These are medical grade skincare products available only through a provider.

Are there any ways to save on treatments and products?

Join the rewards programs “Aspire” and “Alle”. These are the two rewards apps offered by makers of Botox and Dysport! The more treatments you get, the more rewards you will accrue! There is also a Facebook Group you can join, “Botox in Sherman @ Mane Mixx”. Occasional specials will be posted there as well
